Welcome to Calm & Co! I’m so glad you’re here!

Calm & Co is a wellness pop-up studio in downtown Tulsa, designed to be a haven for the wellness curious.

I’m Kalish, an Operations Professional and licensed yoga practitioner.  A few years ago, while searching for a way to process grief and burnout, I delved into talk therapy and yoga.

As a busy entrepreneur, it was easy for me to live in a constant state of “grinding”, which didn’t include intentional rest. I quickly realized that pausing to recalibrate is important as we navigate life's ebbs and flows.

Calm & Co provides many holistic wellness offerings including yoga, meditation, workshops, personal coaching, a variety of wellness products from BLK + GRN marketplace, and so much more.

Our mission is to curate a space where ‘taking care of self’ is more than an afterthought: it’s centrifugal to our existence.

We educate on a number of wellness modalities so that the wellness-curious can be equipped with grounding techniques and remedies that seamlessly fit into their day-to-day lives, providing grounding and clarity.

Whether taking care of your mind and body are fairly new practices for you, or you have a consistent wellness practice, we hope that you find a space for yourself here at Calm & Co.

This way you can carry calm wherever you go.

Tips for a mindful start to wellness:

What’s in your calming routine? Personally, I believe that the best wellness routines are the ones you create with you in mind. If you’re new to wellness, here are a few things that I believe are super helpful when you’re starting out.

  • Solidify your why: it’s important to think about why a wellness routine is important to you, so that on the days that you feel pressure to “Go, go, go”, you can ground yourself in your ‘why’.

  • Start with something realistic: when developing new habits, it can be easy to want to completely overhaul everything you’re doing. Start small. It can be 5-10 minutes of journaling in the morning before you begin your tasks for the day. Commit to something small, then add on to it over time.

  • Explore the practice(s) that pique your interest the most: if you’ve been curious about that heated yoga class, try it! Worst case scenario, you hate it. Knowing what you don’t enjoy can bring you closer to what you do enjoy.

  • Seek community: oftentimes things are less scary when we do them with other people. If you’re open to communal practices, take classes, workshops, etc with others. This can also help to make the unfamiliar seem a lot less intimidating.

  • Habit stack: once you find the thing(s) that you enjoy the most as part of your wellness routine, attach them to things that you already have to do. For example: if you make a grocery run every Saturday, maybe you can take a recurring class/workshop right before your normal grocery-run time. You’re leaving the house anyway - may as well do something productive while you’re out there!
